Today, Saturday 14th April 2007 we were pleased to welcome John
Edwards Badminton England's regional development manager SW to
our club. The reason for his visit was to award the club with
Sport England's Club mark and also Badminton England's Silver
club award (now known as Premier Clubs). At the moment, but I am sure this will change, we
are the only club in Avon county to have these awards. The
award's are really in recognition that the club's committee and
coaches take child protection and equality issues seriously, it
also recognises that we run structured coaching sessions with a
good dose of fun. |
