Keynsham Intermediate Badminton Club Although Keynsham Intermediate BC is classed as an adult club, it is an integral part of Keynsham Junior BC. It was formed to help older and or more talented junior players to move into adult play and then eventually adult clubs. The membership will be mainly adult, those adults have to acknowledge that some games will be with junior players. They must also agree to sign and abide by child protection and equity policies. Adult and junior visiting is by invitation only and ultimately joining will be at the discretion of Keynsham JBC's sub committee. Juniors who join will be classed as a JCM (Junior club member) which means they have to pay Avon and BE affiliation fees at what ever the rate is for the year. Pay and Play session at Keynsham Leisure Centre If you want to play more badminton and you are 16 you can at the pay and play session at Keynsham LC, every Saturday starting at 5pm until 7pm. There is no membership and it only costs £2 at reception. There are 4 courts and runs like most clubs do with a peg board system. Be aware that you will be playing against adults, the standard is mixed but most importantly no one is turned away. A link below to search for local clubs.
